Machu Picchu es una antigua ciudad inca en las montañas de Perú. Fue construida (it was built) por los incas hace muchos años. Está situada a unos 2,400 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Es un lugar famoso y hoy en día muchos turistas visitan las ruinas.
La ciudad tiene muchas estructuras, como templos y casas. Las vistas (views) desde Machu Picchu son muy bonitas. Los turistas pueden caminar por los caminos antiguos y explorar la historia de los incas. Machu Picchu es uno de los lugares más importantes de Perú y del mundo.
