Papel Picado

Instructions

Papel picado is colorful cut out paper used to decorate during celebrations in Mexico like Día de muertos. We'll watch a video on how papel picado is traditionally made. After we watch the video together, do the activities below.

1) Make your own papel picado

  • Use tissue paper and scissors to cut out shapes. Be careful and take your time! We may be able to decorate with them.

2) Answer the questions below:
