I can recognize terms about my daily routine

I told y'all I wanted to cover one more topic before we left for the semester: "-se" on "reflexive verbs". We often use these to talk about our daily routines.
New Quizlet set: Most common reflexive verbs

You'll see "se" a lot in Spanish! There are two major ways that its used, and we've seen them in class but we haven't specifically focused on them.
Spanish has reflexive verbs that are like regular verbs in that they end in -ar, -er, and -ir, but then there is "se" attached to the end of the infinitive. You'll hear Spanish teachers call this a "reflexive pronoun" but that's an argument for another day. You can call it a "reflexive pronoun" in your notes.
Reflexive verbs are used when the subject of the sentence performs an action on itself. The "se" in these cases indicates that the action reflects back on the subject.
Examples:
- Lavarse: "Yo me lavo las manos." (I wash my hands)
- Vestirse: "Ella se viste rápidamente." (She gets dressed fast)
There's also a "se" for when actions happen regularly or generally. You've seen signs like this: Aquí se habla español (Spanish is spoken here.)
Example:
- "Se vende" (Like, "it's being sold". You see this when a house is for sale.)
There's also a form called emphatic se and we have something similar in English but normies call it bad grammar.
I'm going to eat a hamburger. > I'm going to eat myself a hamburger (emphatic) > I'm gonna eat me a hamburger.
