Vuelta a Clases en Nicaragua
Este año, la vuelta a clases en Nicaragua es más cara que antes.
Para mandar a un niño o niña a la escuela, los padres necesitan comprar varias cosas. Un uniforme para un niño incluye cinco camisas blancas, un pantalón azul, cinco pares de medias (calcetines) blancas, un cinturón negro, y zapatos negros. Para una niña, necesitan cinco blusas blancas, una falda azul, cinco pares de medias blancas, un cinturón negro, y zapatos negros.
Además de la ropa, también se necesitan cuadernos, lápices, y marcadores.
En el mercado, las mochilas también son muy populares. Los padres compran mochilas para que sus hijos lleven sus útiles escolares a la escuela.
Aunque los precios son altos, muchas familias siguen comprando lo que necesitan para sus hijos.

Instructions: Draw on the back of this sheet of paper. Divide your paper in half. On the left side, draw the Nicaraguan boys' school uniform based on the information in the text. On the right side, draw the girls' school uniform. Use markers, crayons, or color pencils because the colors are important. Be sure to draw all of the articles of clothing listed in the article. Underneath the uniforms, draw graphics that show the school supplies mentioned in the article. You should refer to your class notes and handouts. You may use a paper dictionary for this exercise, but you probably won't need one.
