Semana 16 Pronóstico de tiempo (Quiz Grade in PowerSchool)

Before you begin working on this assignment, you need a city or place to do your weather report on. You can choose, but you have to run it by Mr. Wilkins first. If you don't have a preference, we can give you a place.

Assignment Instructions

Use Canva, PowerPoint or paper (markers, crayons, etc.) to create a 5-day weather report about a place from a Spanish-speaking country or area. The amount of detail you want to include is up to you, but your document must at least contain the following items and follow these guidelines:

• Your presentation must be completely in Spanish
• Give the name of city (or park, town, area, etc.) and the country
• Give a brief description of the area (this can be a sentence or two describing the city. Search for some information about the city if you need to. Do not copy/paste sentences from Google translate or a simply from another website. I want to see descriptions of things that we have learned so far! Place your description somewhere at the top of your page so it does not get in the way of the weather information.)
• A description of the weather (Use both words and images/icons) for each day. More elaborate examples can include the weather for the morning, afternoon, evening, and night, but this is your choice.
• The days of the week in Spanish (5-day minimum) (A good practice would be to use one column for weather for each day),
• Possibility of precipitation.
• Give temperatures in Celsius!
• Other relevant information (Activities that people are doing, etc.)

What is missing in the example above?

• First, the temperatures are listed in Fahrenheit.
• There is no description of San José on the paper.
