I won't be in class today. Please follow these instructions for your classwork. We'll go over the texts and comprehension questions together when we're back on Monday. Try your best, work hard, and have a nice weekend!
1) Bellringer:
- 5 minutes, práctica on Duolingo
2) Vocabulary Chart:

- Review the chart and write down the terms in your notebook. If you can, try drawing the chart too. Write down what each term means.
3) Directions Chart and Example Sentences:
- Copy the chart and example sentences from this link into your notes: Example Sentences Link. Here is the static link: https://wilkins.dropmark.com/1467026/34143214
4) Reading Assignment - “¿La playa o las montañas?”:
- You will recieve the text, “¿La playa o las montañas?”. Read the text and keep the handout in your notebook. Add the vocabulary from the story to your notes too.
5) Reading Assignment - “¿Qué tiempo hace en Nicaragua?”:
- Read the story and answer the pre-reading questions, the vocabulary chart and the comprehension questions.
- Write down the vocabulary from the story in your notes.
- When you read, try to understand and make connections without using the computer to translate the words. Use your laptop for the section where you see pictures of these places and where they are in the world, not to simply translate text.
6) Quizlet "Actividades":
